Individual or Family Travel Insurance
It is not unusual for expatriate teachers to make the most of the opportunities that working overseas provides by travelling to as many different countries as possible.
However, when travelling from your country of residence you should seriously consider taking out travel insurance. As you know the cost of emergency medical cover overseas can be very costly, further, if you have booked and paid for your holiday and are then unable to travel due to illness who will refund the costs. Also what happens if your baggage goes missing?
In conjunction with our sister company Columbus Direct we are pleased to be able to offer a range of international travel insurance products. These products are underwritten at Lloyd's and are available to all nationalities based in many countries worldwide. Single trip insurance is available for business trips and holidays including winter sports options for those who enjoy the rush of adrenaline. However we would encourage most clients to consider the benefits of annual travel insurance that will cover you for all your trips, planned or unplanned as long as no one trip exceeds 45 days. There is an option to add winter sports cover into your annual policy. If you are making more than two trips a year annual cover is usually better value for money.
